FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a charge for this years display?

With the rising costs associated with running safe and profesional events, unfortunetly, there has to be a small charge this year.  Any money made on top of what this years display costs will go directly into the funds for other community events in Caldicot, such as the Christmas Light Switch On, and Caldicot Summer Fayre.

A few months ago, a poll was released on our social media channels, which confirmed that the majority of people surveyed would pay between £4 and £5 for entry.  This is where the pricing stratergy has come from for this year.  The event is expected to cost aorund £25,000, and has been supported already by some local businesses, and Caldiot Town Council.  Any and all contributions (including ticket sales) are very greatly appriciated.

We have made the very dificult desision to offer the initial rease at £4.50, but as of the 10th Octber 2023, tickets will cost £9 instead.
